This course is suitable for those who are looking to renew their existing First Aid at Work qualification.

 

Course content is the same as the 3 day course, and acts as a refresher in 2 days for re certification for 3 years.

• The role of the first aider

• Managing an emergency

• Amputations

• Anaphylaxis

• Asthma

• Basic Life Support and CPR - Adults

• Use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

• Bleeding (minor and severe)

• Burns and scalds

• Chest pains (including Cardiac Arrest)

• Choking (adult)

• Dislocations

• Eye Injuries

• Fractures

• Fainting

• Head injuries

• Low blood sugar

• Poisoning

• Recording and reporting

• Regulations

• Shock

• Sprains

• Spinal injuries

• Stroke

• Seizures

• Unconscious casualty

 

 

Candidates will be assessed at the end of the course for certification.

This course is run for groups only.

Price per group is  £900.00 for a group of 12 delegates if run at your own venue. 

 

This includes certification for 3 years and a first aid manual.
