First Aid at Work - 3 day course

This course is suitable for all individuals who are nominated First Aiders in the workplace.

 

Once qualified individuals who hold this certificate can be used as First Aiders in the Workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety Act 1974.

 

Course content:

  • The role of the first aider

  • Managing an emergency

  • Amputations

  • Anaphylaxis

  • Asthma

  • Basic Life Support and CPR - Adults

  • Use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

  • Bleeding (minor and severe)

  • Burns and scalds

  • Chest pains (including Cardiac Arrest)

  • Choking (adult)

  • Dislocations

  • Eye Injuries

  • Fractures

  • Fainting

  • Head injuries

  • Low blood sugar

  • Poisoning

  • Recording and reporting

  • Regulations

  • Shock

  • Sprains

  • Spinal injuries

  • Stroke

  • Seizures

  • Unconscious casualty

 

This course is run for groups only.
Price per group is £1300.00 for a group of 12 delegates run at your own venue.

 

Candidates will be assessed at the end of the course for certification.

This course is currently following all  Covid 19 health and safety procedures and social distancing measures. Only 2 people allowed on 'Open' courses and for group courses 2 metre social distancing rule must apply in your own venue.
